This morning we set off to Home Depot for a quick winter craft project before heading down to the Keauhou Pier for Fairwinds Cruises 40th Anniversary celebration. On the way there, I drugged Keni, Riki & yours truly (since we're all notoriously prone to motion sickness). And because I also happen to be an expert on such matters- I carefully instructed both boys on the art of puking quietly, neatly and discreetly while on the boat (which really...is the best type of automotive to puke in if given the choice). ;-)
Fortunately, both boys responded well to their Japanese motion sickness medication...but I learned the hard way that half a Bonine doesn't always cut it. I won't say elaborate any more other than to say that I am thankful Fairwinds has such lovely on board toilets and a locking door. :-)
As we walked to the pier I couldn't help but snap this pic of the boys in front of all the canoes. Even though I've lived here most of my life, sometimes I still have to pinch myself at the sight of such simple, island beauty.
| Keni started the trouble by announcing he was going to show off his "chi chi's" (Japanese for boobs), & copycats Riki & Ryan quickly joined in as well. I love, love, love my silly boys! |
| Pictures are far and few between of our time on the boat because I was pretty much green the second I got on board and soooo not in the mood to corral the kids for a forced photo shoot. |
