I've come to believe that it is very difficult to get people to change their minds on something...but not impossible. Knowing that, I rarely use my blog or Facebook to share my more passionate views with others (such as the need for marriage equality, or the desire to get the rest of America to acknowledge that spam musubis are magical). This is because in most cases, I know that I have a very limited experience and/or capacity to truly change the heart and minds of others. But unlike little 'ol me, this guy can.
He's a passionate, intelligent, well spoken orator (and yes, for the record, I'd date him), and regardless of your beliefs on this issue- I hope you can acknowledge that he raises some very valid truths. Freedom, equality, rainbows and unicorns for all...peace out home fries.

I had to share that when I first saw it on Facebook. LOVED IT! Too bad there are so many closed-minded people out there who will dismiss his testimony out of hand.
I live in WV, one of the most closed-minded, bigoted, backward states in the country. It's difficult to be a liberal here. I do my best. But my best doesn't even come close to this young man's.
