On Friday Ry got to spend half a day out in Waikoloa with his BFFs (they ended the day splashing in the fountains at The Shops at Mauna Lani) and then enjoyed a home movie/popcorn night with his cousins. On Saturday he helped me celebrate Girls Day with breakfast at Sam Choy's before spending the rest of the day with his cousins. And today (Sunday), we spent half the day down at the pier at a Peaman race.
Mika, Rich and I all followed the boys at different paces/times while Keni did the 4-mile run, Riki did a 2-miler, and Ryan did a half mile. All were bribed with post-race refreshments, prizes and a swim at the pier...which worked. :-) And clearly (as you'll see below), at least one person had a good time.

Oh dear. His body is not quite parallel. Neither his arms or legs are touching, and his toes are not pointed. I give him a 6.5.

In his defense, I asked him to do a giant cannonball. I had no idea how girlish this would look. Not a huge turn on...not at all.

Meet "Spiny" the sea urchin (the boys named him). I told the boys if they cracked it open they could eat some very, very fresh 'uni' (urchin). There were no takers. Racist pigs.
The rest of our week looks to be a little crazy... Rich leaves tomorrow for Oahu for a 3-day work trip (very bummed we don't get to tag along with him), but Ry and I fly out 8-10 hours later for our own adventure too). Details soon!
