Last weekend we were very fortunate to be able to partake in a long-time kama'aina company's 45th anniversary celebration. People queued in line for hours to get tickets to get a short ride on their signature catamaran. We were lucky that our friends arrived there over an hour early to get us tickets, or we would have never gotten one. Because our tickets were not for a few more hours, Ryan and his four friends had plenty of time to kill at the beach before our departure time...which they spent at the gorgeous bay.

| One thing I love about this bay...how the steps enter directly into the water when the tide is up. |

Our little daredevil loved the slide and the high dive platform of the catamaran...

Other than that, I did get a tentative job offer last week that I've accepted. Thankfully, it can take a few months for them to process a new hire there...so I won't start anytime soon.
I also went on my very first bike ride in probably two decades (even though it was short...whew), and my first swim in probably 1-2 years (I'm ashamed of how long it too me to swim 15 laps). I don't have any plans to continue biking or swimming as a sport per se, I'm just trying to keep up with my son. ;-)
Rich also got a part in a play again, so he's at rehearsal five nights a week for the next couple of months. I think I'm used to it this time around (his last play two years ago was a harsh awakening to life as a 'theater widow'), but it does have it's rough moments when I'm madly zig sagging across town trying to collect multiple children from school and sports.
Other than that, it's life as usual. I'm hoping to plan a fun Saturday for the family since our Sunday is getting filled with a long run, a play date for Ryan and rehearsal for Rich. We don't see each other much during the week, so I'm thinking a short road trip is in order...
