All I want for Christmas, is...

...not much! I promise. I already have the only things I need- shelter, a working car, a full pantry and a healthy family. So I struggle to come up with a list of things I actually want each year. This year, these were the only things on the list:

1. These Chelsea bowls! The colors and designs remind me of my beloved Morocco. I admit this is one of two things I asked for this Christmas (I got them). They're quite pricey online, but thankfully, Costco had them!

2. Tickets to a single show at the new luxury theater that just opened up in Waikoloa. We haven't had one on the island yet...so even though tickets are a bit steep, I think it'll be fun...and I did tell Rich I wanted this too.

3. And  this one is pure fantasy...I would love, love, love a small shipment of  'garra rufa' (doctor fish), so that I can have my own fish spa. I'd love even more, but I don't think I can afford them. I'm also unsure of whether they're legal here in the islands. With the shipping, filter, tank, special supplemental food and the complications of their breeding (sounds impossible for me to do), maintenance and care...there is little doubt they'd make it to their first birthday. So no, I didn't voice my desire for doctor fish...as I didn't want my husband spending $500 to illegally ship five over here, only to have to bury them 48 hours later. ;-) (If you can remember, I somehow lost over a thousand composting worms a few years ago, and the pain is still raw. I still hear worms crying in my dreams at night.)

4. Oh, and though I didn't ask for this....I'd mentioned to a friend how beautiful/calming I found Himalayan salt lamps to be, and she surprised me with one!

I'm currently in battle with Ryan over the right to put it in our bedroom vs. his, so for now, he/she is happily lighting up our great room...thanks, Y. We love it so much!

5. And last but not least, an all expenses paid, week-long trip to Malta. That's all! ;-)
