We're only six days into the month of March, but so far, so good:
- My boys greeted me with breakfast in bed and a homemade card for Girls Day. :-)
- I started my new job (which I already feel very comfortable at), and am working with not one, but two, great friends. The other three coworkers I just met all seem great as well. Feeling pretty lucky.
- My nephew and I recently started to run together (he's training for his black belt test), and we ran a 4-miler together (only his third day running, ever). I can tell running is not his passion so far, but I'm hoping my love for it is infectious and perhaps he'll enjoy it someday.
- We went to the circus with Ry, my brother, SIL and their two girls. Great fun, and great company.
- We had Ryan's parent-teacher conference. He's doing just fine, but it's always a relief to know your child is okay. I never want to take 'okay' for granted.
- Although Ry is sick AGAIN (second cold in two weeks), we had four days off together, and I'm hoping it's just enough time for him to recuperate so that he can return to school once it resumes. (Update: It was not. He's still home sick! Argh! It's his fourth cold this school year!)
- Rich finished, or is almost finished with, the final painting of our renovation.
- I'm getting to spend some bonus time with my niece this month. She's cute, chubby and quiet- all the very best things about babies. I feel pretty lucky to be hanging with her.
- I ate my first Buddha bowl from a vegan restaurant today. It was...meh. Okay. I like the concept though, and may attempt a few lazier versions of ones I've seen online.

| It's almost (circus) show time!!! |
 |
| Girls day breakfast! Blueberries, strawberry chichidango and some very healthy jello cheesecake! |
 |
| Running a slow and steady 4-miles, on only his third day, ever, of running! |
 |
| Love that he's still not too old for water balloons or trampolines! |
I can't wait for the fun that awaits us a little later this month. Of course I'm a bit stressed starting a new job (soooo much info to take in), and I've been neglecting my health for many, many months, but I need to focus on the positive, and not get caught up on the things that aren't going so well. So for March, forget about the new job nerves, the extra weight around my middle, Ryan's colds....and keep my eye on the prize- the second half of March!
