More, more, more Alaska!

Posing on a train in Skagway...we opted to forgo the train ride the masses went on to go on a National Park tour instead. Loved it!

Aww...cute, eh? The only thing that bugs me about this and the millions of other touching 'Daddy and Ryan' photos is that it looks like Roy is the only parent creating warm memories with Ryan!!! He *never* takes candid pics of me with the boy! EVER. :-(

Ry wasn't listening, and well, you know...

With the BFF Kathy at Mendenhall Glacier. My dad got us a hardy cabbie named Steve to drive us there (think beard, yellow raincoat bottoms with large suspenders on top) and back. Loved him and his stories!

Eating teppanyaki on the ship. This is Night #2 of teppanyaki since on Night #1, I had to bail out on everyone else just as the food was being served to go downstairs and ralph! Thankfully, night #2 went much better. Loved me some filet mignon!

Daddy & Ryan playing at the park we hiked up to in Ketchikan.

Hiking above Married Man's Path in Ketchikan, which was by far- our favorite Alaskan coastal town. Got to see millions of salmon swimming upstream through white rapids on scenic Creek Street!

Sometimes I feel like it's just me watching Ryan all the time, and that Roy is just off in his own world...

...but he says I'm just being silly (and to hurry up and bring his frappucino before the whipped cream melts).

More horsing around at the Boeing Gallery...one of our favorite unplanned stops ever (it's only 25 min. north of Seattle).

We saw more life-sized stuffed animals (if you're a plushie, trust me, this is a must-do cruise) on this trip than we've ever seen before!

At the Hiram Chittenden Locks in Seattle watching the bridge rise.

While my mother and brother Joseph were touring the Glass Museum (if you're wondering why I didn't go, perhaps you need to re-read where they went...Glass...Museum), my dad, Roy, Ry and I engaged in one of favorite pastimes- walking around an RV lot!!! And this time, we found what our heart has been yearning for all these years. We fell in love. This is our next big purchase once we win the lottery- an Airstream.

Ryan swore flying an airplane was just like riding a bicycle...and you know what? He lied. It's not.

You can't go to Seattle without frolicking in some greenery, tossing out your deodorant, weaving dandelions in your hair... We're getting our green on at Seattle Center's park/garden.

I refused to go up the Space Needle (for the fortieth time), so I convinced Roy that standing in front of it at the bottom and looking at the pics in the gift shop of the view was basically the same experience.
