Rizzle Does Seattle & Alaska! Part II

Ryan swore that in order to be a real Alaskan we had to let him hunt and skin a moose, but he eventually caved and consented to just wearing this fox hat instead (whew... shipping a moose home ain't cheap).

Because his wool cap was still a bit too big (it kept sliding down and obstructing his eyes making it harder to do things like eat gravel), we had to fold the bottom part up...which just made him look like a little Chinese boy!

You can see from this photo who truly is the apple of Roy's eye.

Because Ryan's cheeks were so red and wind-burned after only half a day of walking around Juneau, we decided to use the rain guard on his carrier. But because it was so bright and sunny (just cold) outside, it made him look like 'the boy in the bubble' earning him tons of sympathetic chuckles from others.

Despite our hopes, we never did see a big 'ol scary polar bear. Just this cute one.
