So Cal Day 5 - Universal Studios!

Our last day in LA was spent at Universal Studios. Though I think the park is geared toward a slightly older age group than our 9, 7 & 3 year old boys, they still had a great time.  With only 7,000 people in the park that day, it really wasn't the madhouse that Disney can be...

My Gladiators, ready for battle!
The best feature of the park for adults is still the hour-long(ish) tram ride, especially when it takes you to...
...Wisteria Lane!  The last time I rode the tram tour (6 years ago?) they were filming the show that day, so we didn't get to drive through.  But I got to see every house today- here's Susan's!
And my favorite character...sassy pants Gabby Solis!
Ryan was an inch too short for this ride.  :-(  PS- Mom...sorry I forgot to mention the wet, 75-foot drop at the end of the ride!  Wasn't it super tame aside from that, though?  :-)

These ball-playing cages are all the rage in theme parks nowadays.  They're loud (there are about 5 air compressors going off at once), and filled with screaming kids & balls flying through the air.  What's not to love?
At the park's playground ...because we don't have any of those over here.
Why rent a stroller when you have a Keni?
