Work and life have been so busy lately, that I haven't had the time to request new books, much less read them. Well...not anymore. I have finally made it a priority to get some books ordered.
Super duper beyond excited to have ordered all of these lovely new(ish) books from the library, and am hopping from left foot to right in eager anticipation of when these babies get here! I don't need movies, concerts or 'stuff' to keep me happy, a good book pretty much ticks every box for me. And I'm lucky enough to work within walking distance of a library, so there's no excuse to not be able to go regularly (other than opening hours have been wonky for years due to COVID, short staffing, a broken AC, etc).
I need to make more of an effort to do the things that keep me sane and happy- reading. Walking. Eating healthier food. Sleeping (I don't love doing this one, but it keeps me from getting sick).
Doing these things will give me more energy to tackle the not so fun things.
Here's to better health...week #7 of the initiative starts today. Down 10 lbs. Getting stronger. But not quite balanced or motivated, so working on that part!
