Guys. The month of May scares me. It always has. It's a big month for our family, every year. But this year we've made it even more chaotic with the addition of a few more events. Here is the line up:
5th - Boys Day (keeping it simple this year, given that so much else is going on)
17th - Ryan's birthday (a 2-part affair with a friend party, and family party)
18th - Joey's birthday (he'll be here around then)
22nd - Riki's HS graduation and party (which we're hosting at our house)
23rd - We leave on a two-week trip
31st - 25th year anniversary
But to even get there, we have to finish out April...which is captured below...
We had some company for four days...Baxter & Pacho! Forgot how difficult it is to have young pets!
Ryan went fishing while his cousins were camping...
After two years of nearly no practice and zero performances, the kids got to perform for the first time on the last day of April at a ceremony at the temple. There were also 2,000 hand-folded paper cranes adorning the temple for the occasion...
The ongoing piano lessons are going well...Ryan seems to like his choice and continues on, with somewhat diminished enthusiasm, but definite still interest...
We haven't been out to Lava Lava Waikoloa as a family in awhile, so we caravanned out with the parents, and my brother and his family for some fun in the shade and sun! The nieces were over the moon to play with the puppies again! Ry chose to sit this one out because he wanted to get some math and health homework done (wink wink, I think this is code for 'I want to stay home.').
